What do war heroes keep to themselves? What do their families suffer from this secrecy? Is there a bond between the living and the dead who have been in war? The Caretaker is a British veteran of the Korean War. Through him we meet spirits who have also been in some of Britain's wars. They validate for him that he was an actual hero in his war. He should not have shunned his sister and granddaughter for having concerns about his well being. During the past 50 years, he might well have thought better of himself. Although this is a play about serious matters, it's also a funny event on stage. Come and experience war wit and survivor's comedy.
