The Greek Gods return to find their planet in ruins. Therese Starling visits Hannibal Gove in a psychiatric unit. And The Secretary of State has eaten her own hands. This is the work of the Body Politic. Clatterhouse Theatre presents a collection of dark and twisted plays in their new piece ‘BODY POLITIC (or scenes from the past, present, future & beyond...)’ by Ben Kavanagh. Using real events as stimulus, Kavanagh’s episodic collection of short plays delves in and out of the lives of all of us, from pastiche to parody, surrealism to absurdism, dance to black comedy, the entire evening is an exploration of what, where and who we are.
