“I like the sound of this one by Nathan Ellis, a member of the Royal Court Young Writer’s Group and founding member of This Noise. Apparently, the show is performed entirely by the audience which sounds really intriguing.”

Overview

This is a show about work.
But the worker isn’t here, so it’s down to you.

A new play about getting stuff done, performed entirely by the audience

Nathan Ellis is a writer, theatre maker, and current member of the Royal Court Invitation Writers Supergroup led by Alice Birch and Ali McDowell. He is a founder-member of This Noise, an experimental theatre company (“one of the five most exciting young companies in the UK” The Guardian). In 2018, he wrote and developed the text for No One Is Coming to Save You, a play about anxiety (“a blazing debut” The Guardian) which was published by Oberon and went on a UK tour in summer 2019. In 2019 he received an Arts Council grant to explore writing practice in Europe, in Berlin, Avignon, Slovenia, and Serbia.
