Fringe First winner. How do you chart the remarkable moments that make up a lifetime? A glimpse into stories of kindness and courage from families facing breast cancer. Casey Jay Andrews is a multi-award winning writer, designer and theatre-maker based in the South East of England (though her heart is planted firmly in Edinburgh's Old Town). Casey’s play "The Archive of Educated Hearts" won The Scotsman's coveted Fringe First Award at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, a Best Theatre Award at the 2019 Adelaide Fringe, "Critic's Choice" from The National Scot (2019), and it was listed in the Scotsman's "TOP TEN returning Theatre or Dance shows" and "TOP FOUR shows to see in under an hour"of the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It was also long-listed for the Old Vic 12 in during early stages of development in the writing category. It is a cross art-form piece of storytelling exploring the impact of breast cancer through verbatim interviews and an honest autobiographical narrative of grief, strength, compassion and kindness. It had its North American debut in December 2019 at The Soho Playhouse New York City, the same theatre where "Fleabag" and "Hannah Gadsby's ""Nanette"" took the city by storm.
