“Another interesting-sounding work-in-progress, produced by the excellent Atticist, written by Rafaella Marcus (associate director on Emilia at the Globe) and exploring the Greek myth of Daphne and Apollo. It’s sure to win laurels.”
“A story of sex, power, and trees.”

This is a story with a crime at its heart.’ A myth, a lie, a tree. A queer urban fable of sex, truth, and power from an award-winning team.

Rafaella Marcus is an award-winning director and writer. She works on new writing with an emphasis on myths, food, mess, and femme and LGBTQ+ voices.
Atticist is an award-winning collaborative theatre company. We want to make work that is bold, hopeful, inventive, and exciting — work that roots around inside us where the fantastical nightmares lie.
