About Recovery Town
A one-woman show and based on real events, Recovery Town is a dark scrapbook of storytelling, clowning, illustration and standup, exploring one woman’s recovery through the eyes of their daughter. Ella Prendergast is a comedian, writer, performer and COA (Child of an Addict). Recovery Town will be Ella’s first play and Vault Festival 2020 will be her debut. Previous appearances include Red Palace (The Vaults, 2019) and Secret Cinema. “Ella is the icing on any comedy cake.
