Glory. Regret. Absolutely shocking defending. In his debut hour, character comedian Raphael Wakefield charts the rise and fall of Arsene Wenger, and asks what it means to become successful. Character comedian Raphael Wakefield began performing at the tender age of 9½, in a humiliating incident during a football-themed summer camp. (See Wengerball for the juicy details...) He has since performed on Series 18-21 of BBC Radio 4Xtra’s Newsjack, alongside the likes of Emma Sidi, Kieran Hodgson, and Kiri Pritchard-McLean. His political impressions for the Our Future, Our Choice pro-EU campaign have fooled thousands of users all across social media. He was formerly a member of the Cambridge Footlights, is a member of Soho Theatre Young Company, and has previously appeared as part of sketch acts Walnut Sanchez and The Canon. Wengerball is his debut solo hour. 12+ Tags: Character Comedy, Solo Show, Storytelling
