PYNEAPPLE explores the minds of five young black women on different journey’s on their life, yet still connect through their individual battles with mental health, sexuality, discrimination and self-love. The SPYCE Collective is a new company of five young female theatre-makers, committed to creating, developing and producing challenging theatre for diverse audiences. The collective aim to explore a variety of issues ranging from those specific to the black female experience to universal themes such as love and relationships, sexuality and mental health and more. They strive to create work that provides honest representations and positively dismantles stereotypes about black women, and other marginalised groups of society.
