Comedian Micky Overman delves into her early twenties when a minor medical issue resulted in heartbreak, unemployment and an encounter with a witch. Includes jokes and her grandma's wisdom. Micky Overman has been doing stand up comedy for five years and in that time has developed a unique style combining sharp writing with an incredible silliness. Her comedy comes from having a strong point of view and a determination to never leave a joke unturned. Her stories are gag-heavy and her confident delivery rivals any seasoned pro. Early on she was a runner-up in the Leicester Square New Act Competition, a finalist in the Funny Women competition and in 2018 she was nominated for Chortle Best Newcomer. Since then she has worked steadily, gigging in the biggest clubs all over the UK and Europe, having played in the Netherlands, Germany, Estonia, Finland, Norway, etc. She's taken two solo shows up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as part of The Pleasance, and is now working on her third hour. 15+ Tags: Stand-Up,Women’s Voices,Work In Progress
