About Maddy
In this modern retelling of Medea, Maddy is stuck in a world of vodka shots and partying. Her fiancé has left her and she is quickly spiralling out of control. Storm The Gods Theatre Company was set up by Jasmin Mandi-Ghomi, Amy Collins, and Carly McCann to try and combat the dearth of female-led theatre companies. Carly McCann plays MADDY. Recently she has been touring the country with her company Electrick Village performing the show Raw Transport, in which she plays the character of Shelley. Jasmin Mandi-Ghomi is the writer of MADDY and has previously had work staged at the Arcola Theatre and the Southwark Playhouse. She is also currently one of Tamasha's developing playwrights. Amy Collins is the director of this piece. Her most recent work was I Drink To Thee, which was staged at the Valleta Campus Theatre in Malta.
