Alexa, why am I sad? ClownHearted is a frank and funny exploration of mental health. Using physical-comedy, ClodHopper invite you to join two clowns on a journey through self-care. Owen Jenkins and Leonie Spilsbury met and trained at the Oxford School of Drama. Leonie has worked as a clown and actor internationally. Her credits include; Tiddler and Other Tales (West End), Importance of Being Earnest (Red Rose Chain), Enemy Of The People (Flintlock Theatre UK tour) NOT: Lady Chatterley's Lover (Happy Idiot) and The Good Soul of Szechuan (Watford Palace). Owen Jenkins is artistic director of FacePlant Theatre, who won family show of the year at Vault Festival 2018 with One Duck Down. Credits include; an international tour of David Walliam's First Hippo On The Moon, The Game's Afoot (Les Enfant Terribles) and Enemy Of The People (Flintlock Theatre UK Tour). Having worked independently in comedy for many years, this is a debut for ClodHopper Theatre Company and world premiere of ClownHearted.
