“Featuring an actor who never gets to perform and a security guard who does nothing, this is billed as “the most boring show in history.” That may not sound particularly seductive but apparently this slice of the absurd from Netherlands’ company Theater Artemis has been a big hit across Europe and North America. It is aimed at the eight plus age group but may be one for anyone with a taste for the theatrically bizarre—or a worn-out parent who wants to have a quick nap.”

Overview

Welcome to the most boring show in history: an actor who never gets to perform and a security guard who just hopes nothing will occur.

Created in the Netherlands, this carefully crafted, absurdist masterpiece of hope, humour and failure has been adored by critics and children across Europe, the US and Canada for the last 12 years.

Theater Artemis return to the Unicorn following the hilarious show The Man Who Knows It All (2017).
