The title of the latest show from Frantic Assembly could be read two ways: on one hand it hints of the intimacy that two people can feel when a relationship is particularly intense and they trust each other. On the other, it perhaps nods towards the loneliness we all feel at times, particularly when we feel let down or betrayed. Frantic is celebrating its 25th anniversary and it is one of the companies who over the last quarter century has changed the vocabulary of British theatre creating a physical and visual language that melds with text to create a total theatre experience. Written by Sally Abbott, this new piece about loneliness, love and intimacy is co-directed by Frantic co-founder, Scott Graham, and Kathy Burke.
From those electric moments of discovery and connection to the dark hours of isolation, we all seek connection and resolution. But sometimes what connects us is what we need to escape from. I THINK WE ARE ALONE is a delicate and uplifting play about our fragility, resilience and our need for love and forgiveness. Age Recommendation: 14+
