“I caught this exquisitely understated and emotionally effective piece in Edinburgh. Made with unaffected low-fi storytelling installation, it tells the story of families living with breast cancer. Empathy, sympathy and wisdom.”

Overview

Award-winning storytelling, inside a shed. Winner of The Scotsman Fringe First Award 2018

Scrawled diary entries & dog-eared photo albums unfold to reveal a delicate glimpse into the fragments of absolute joy and incomprehensible heartbreak that make up a lifetime. You're invited to step inside this unique storytelling installation to discover honest & personal accounts of kindness, courage, friendship and family. It is a mixture of poetic storytelling, verbatim interviews and a sprawling unfolding photo album of memories - and it all takes place inside a lovingly crafted garden shed.

An award-winning production crafted from true stories of families facing breast cancer, written & performed by Casey Jay Andrews.

“A beautiful, understated piece of storytelling” LYN GARDNER
