Overview
Meet King: a down-on-his-luck migrant dish-pig locked out in the back alley for the night (again) with only the bins - and you - to keep him company. King will unfurl his life story - from the tiny triumphs to the massive losses, along the mad journey taking him from mainland Europe to the grimy metropolis of London.
King is a hilarious and confronting post-Brexit migrant-monologue written and performed by award-winning Greek playwright, stand-up and actor Dennis Matsikas.
Presented by Offie nominated LZA Theatre, led by award winning director Liz Arday.
Originally scheduled for March 2020 and postponed due to the pandemic, we’re incredibly excited to finally be welcoming King to the Hope for a limited run.
