About Dr Faustess
In a chaotic teaching hospital, Dr Madeleine Faustess is suffering from burnout and stuck in a hell of a rut. So why not summon the great Mephistopheles, and fulfill some heart's desires before time runs out? But instead of the great demon she gets Hal, a disgraced junior semi-demon who scarcely seems up to doing the job. In the course of a year and a day, doctor and demon must learn to accept each other for better or worse, in this sparkling black comedy about good and evil, winning and losing, love and death... and all the little things in between. Dr Faustess will be presented as a scratch performance, continuing its development after two readings and dramaturgical refinement with director Kolja Schallenberg.
