Toni and TJ are brother and sister. They have seen a lot. At first glance they fit nicely into stereotypical boxes. But who are they really? A tale of family, love, division and reconciliation, exploring issues of mixed race identity, gender fluidity and pansexual personalities in the black community. BOXES reveals seldom heard voices from contemporary urban Britain. Original EDM music score by Ross Allchurch and striking physical spectacles by Alleyne Dance International, it is a multi-disciplined attack on traditional theatre form.
