As a Tiger in the Jungle

As a Tiger in the Jungle

Stratford Circus · 17 MAY - 18 MAY

Spoken word, movement, circus and ceremony come together in this inspiring story

Overview

Three performers from Nepal ask questions about life, love, poverty and greed. Using spoken word, movement, circus and ceremony, they tell the story of how against all odds they survived their childhood and created their own destiny.

Inspired by the lives and destiny of performers Renu Ghalan Tamang and Aman Tamang's experiences as child circus slaves in India, this is the story of Nepalese children being trafficked into slavery in Indian traditional circus.

As a Tiger in the Jungle is an inspiring, authentic, raw and heart warming performance about life and circus, entertainment and reflection.
