Shall We Take This Outside is national slam champion Adam Kammerling’s exploration of his own violence, where it found him, why he embraced it, and how it affects him today. Moving through Adam’s memories, we discover the myriad ways that violence bleeds into everyday real-life. Through dance and spoken word, Adam, Emma and Si will lead you through an investigation of the effect of hero behaviour on real-world attitudes to violence and male mental health. What does it means to hold such desperately flawed characters on so high a pedestal? With a soundtrack that’s equal parts classic pomp and heroism, with electronic, grime-inspired instrumentals, Shall We Take This Outside is produced by OX Projects and was made with the kind support of Arts Council England, The Albany, Apples And Snakes and CALM.
