King's Head Theatre are offering a diverse selection of performances to lift spirits and combat the January blues.

The upcoming schedule includes a range of events such as a dystopian drama, physical comedy and clowning, workout sessions, drag and comedy shows, and an improvised comedy night. One of the highlights is "Dare You Say Please," a dark comedy set in a dystopian world written by BBC shortlisted writer Aimee Varani. Another notable performance is "And Then The Rodeo Burned Down," a physical comedy and clowning spectacular that received rave reviews at Edinburgh Fringe and won a Fringe First award. Additionally, there is "Doom & Glitter," a drag and blues cabaret tribute to Tom Waits, and "Howerd's End," a play that takes a look at the clandestine relationship between Frankie and Dennis. All events are available for booking at various prices starting at £10.

Dare You Say Please

A Black Mirror-esque drama set in a dystopian world.

A dark comedy about an overpopulated society pushed to take extreme measures, written by BBC shortlisted writer Aimee Varani. Two complete different strangers must make the ultimate decision: How will they decide which one of them will live beyond this room?

Come and say farewell to a legend... and learn the art of letting go.

This hugely acclaimed play by Mark Farrelly takes you to the heart of Frankie and Dennis' clandestine relationship, which lasted from the 1950s until Frankie's death in 1992. Packed with laughter, but unafraid of truth, it portrays two humans' journey through closeness, love, grief and all the other things that make life worth living.
