Pippi Longstocking has carrot-coloured hair and a freckly face, and lives with a monkey and a horse (which she can lift above her head) in a little Swedish village, near her two best friends, Tommy and Annika.
This one-woman storytelling performance, with plenty of audience participation, invites you to meet this brave, clever and kind-hearted nine-year-old girl.
The show is a collaboration between Danyah Miller (I Believe in Unicorns, Why the Whales Came, Perfectly Imperfect Women) and award-winning director Helena Middleton (Education, Education, Education, Star Seekers, Pippi Longstocking – The Musical Adventure).

‘I was really fascinated with this strong little girl that was the center of everything, and she was almost magical in a way. She was stronger and tougher than anyone. She had super-human strength, and I got a kick out of her.’ -Michelle Obama
