Join the carnival with a Brazilian-style samba school for disabled and non-disabled people and families.
Alegria Samba School invites you to spend the afternoon creating costumes and an outdoor performance in the Brazilian style.
Alegria Samba School aims to overcome barriers and create carnival that everyone can be a part of. They have collaborated with Embaixadores Da Alegria, Rio’s largest disability-led samba school, to create this afternoon of carnival activities.
Commissioned and supported by the Unlimited programme, celebrating the work of disabled artists, with funding from Arts Council England and British Council.
Note performance is on the Mandela Terrace, Level 2, outside Royal Festival Hall
