Created by the multi-award-winning comedian Cassie Workman, Giantess is a story of self-acceptance. Interweaving music, comedy, storytelling and illustration, Cassie’s one-person-show explores the anguish of coming to terms with a gender identity that doesn’t match your body. After being abducted by a troll, a girl must realise her destiny, and escape. What lies beyond his kingdom is a mystery, so she will need the strength of a giantess. Cassie Workman is a former RAW comedy winner who went on to win the 2011 Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Best Newcomer Award and has since been seen on Channel 10’s It’s a Date and Die on Your Feet, as a contributor on Tom Ballard’s Tonightly Show on ABC and in her series So You Think You Can Trans which picked up thousands of views and shares online. Cassie has also joined the writing teams of ABC’s Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell and was head writer on the cult favourite Aaron Chen Tonight. Giantess was nominated for Most outstanding Show at 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and won Best Show at Sydney Comedy Festival.
