‘Right now, there are 1.2 million people eating at 37,000ft.’

“Curious Directive is a company that always makes very interesting theatre, often with sciency-vibe. They were early pioneers of the use of VR in theatre and their latest show incorporates augmented reality as well as a tasting menu worth of Heston Blumenthal. Strap in for a multi-sensory experience.”

“I reckon the latest from the ever-inventive Curious Directive could be a hot ticket. Like their last piece that made clever use of VR, this one also uses augmented reality as we become the passengers on a plane heading towards London while being served a five-course pescatarian tasting menu. The cost of the ticket includes the menu but this isn’t one of those dinning theatre experiences. Rather, it’s a multi-sensory exploration of memory and more.”

Three sky chefs prepare a five-course tasting menu on board the final flight of an Airbus A380.

Ingredients mix, tastes cross-pollinate, and strangers break bread together as the chefs guide you through a British-inspired culinary journey.

As the story hurtles towards London, on the ground at Heathrow, border control is on high alert.

Gastronomic reveals the blueprints of the worlds’ best chefs and celebrates the importance of eating together.

Each ticket includes a five-course tasting menu, and the production is told using curious directive’s trademark harnessing of new technologies, with the use of Augmented Reality.

*The menu is Pescatarian. Allergens available in advance of booking your seats. Replacement dishes cannot be accommodated.
