About Sam Wanamaker Fellowship Lecture 2019

From Shakespeare to Sean O’Casey, via Clifford Odets and Bertolt Brecht, from Chicago to Sydney, via New York, Hollywood, Liverpool and London, Sam Wanamaker’s career spanned a range of genres, media and venues. Diana Devlin traces his many achievements as an actor, director and producer, on stage and screen. Diana first met Sam in 1972, and has held a number of positions at Shakespeare’s Globe ever since. She is currently Deputy Chair of Shakespeare’s Globe Council, and is a former Head of Drama Studies at Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
