About Living Newspaper: Edition 6

Edition 6 explores the strange and contradictory relationship between a closed theatre building and the world outside; asking questions about why we gather together and who we might have lost when we do so again. It will take us on a journey from the familiarity of an old English pub, down the streets of Belarus, into the heady territory of global financial markets, stop briefly on a quiet park bench before bringing us back into the heart of the Royal Court itself. A different creative team will take over the Royal Court Theatre to stage each edition. Over five days, new filmed content will be shared daily including performances from local and global perspectives, longer form pieces, a dating column, a cartoon of the week, a weather room, an agony aunt, horoscopes, and more. The edition will be available to watch for two weeks until Sunday 2 May allowing you to access the work much like you might an online paper – catching up on the news and supplements when it best suits you.
