The Book of Mormon tells the story of two earnest young Mormon missionaries, Elder Kevin Price and Elder Arnold Cunningham.

Dispatched to a small town in Uganda to spread the word of the Latter Day Saints, they’re walloped by culture shock and end up in a showdown with a tyrannical warlord.

The duo are forced to confront their own beliefs before they can win the day, not to mention facing off with famine, poverty and AIDS. It may not sound like the stuff of uproarious comedy, but in the hands of spectacularly snarky South Parkers Parker and Stone, that’s exactly what it is.

Nine 2011 Tony Awards say The Book Of Mormon is the Best Musical of the Year.

Vogue says, “It's the funniest musical of all time.” The New York Times says, “It's the best musical of this century.”

The Book of Mormon London Tickets

The Book of Mormon continues to impress London audiences right at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Being a winner of nine 2011 Tony Awards along with abundant sensational reviews and sell-out shows under its belt, The Book of Mormon tickets remain amongst the hottest in the West End.

The Book of Mormon London Musical In a Nutshell

Elder Price is a rising star amongst his church community, with everyone speaking and expecting highly of this bright young Mormon. When it is about time for him to embark on his mission given by the church elders, his hopes of jetting off to Orlando are dashed when he is instead sent to Uganda. Not only that, he happened to be paired with Elder Cunningham, whose challenging personality quirks and poor understanding of the church’s teachings don’t make him an ideal companion for a mission.

Their task is to educate and convert villagers to join the Mormon church, but little did they know that they will soon be faced with a challenging, unexpected warlord.  ###The Book of Mormon West End’s Song List & Awards The best songs in The Book of Mormon include ‘I Believe’, ‘Tomorrow Is a Latter Day’, ‘All American Prophet’, Spooky Mormon Hell Dream’, and ‘Baptize Me’. In fact, its Original Broadway Cast Recording was released and broke theatre records when it became the fastest-selling Broadway cast album in the history of iTunes. The album's success continued as it shot up into the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 charts after the production won multiple awards at the 2011 Tony Awards.

After The Book of Mormon received its long-anticipated West End stage premiere, the hit musical took home the 2013 Evening Standard Award for Best Night Out and four 2014 Olivier Awards for Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical (Gavin Creel), Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical (Stephen Ashfield), and Best Theatre Choreographer (Case Nicholaw).

Critic reviews

A night of unalloyed joy. Bright, fierce, challenging, unashamedly scatological, and entirely redemptive.

The Observer

A work of genius. Could this be the new golden age for musicals?

The Guardian

The most talked about show in London. Mormon puts itself triumphantly in the middle of the cultural conversation.

The Stage

Foul-mouthed, funny and wild. Terrifically entertaining.

· Metro

It’s hilarious. God have mercy upon my soul.

· Sunday Telegraph

Brash, crude, and offensive. A massive hit.

· The Independent

The asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs was scarcely more of a hit.

· Time Out
