Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations boasts an impressive creative team. The show has a book by Dominique Morisseau, winner of many playwriting awards and author of plays such as The Detroit Project, Skeleton Crew and Paradise Blue. It’s also based on the book The Temptations by Otis Williams, founder and sole surviving member of The Temptations. Williams also acted as an executive producer.
Ain’t Too Proud has Tony-winning choreography by Sergio Trujillo, whose extensive Broadway resume boasts shows such as On Your Feet, Guys And Dolls and Jersey Boys. Two-time Tony award-winner Des McAnuff directs, known for his work on Broadway productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Guys And Dolls and How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Casting is still yet to be announced.
