“We’ll tell the same old stories, all over again. And we won’t complain. Because it’s Christmas.”

“It’s not sophisticated, and it is definitely not slick, but Chris Bush’s Christmas themed family drama offers emotional truth as well as seasonal cheer. Produced by Attic, the show is touring South London libraries and non-theatre spaces, and it gets to the heart of family traditions, resentments and how change affects us all. It’s rough and ready but that makes it all the more unexpectedly moving, and Matt Winkworth’s songs and arrangements are just glorious.”
