About Creativity From The Choir With No Name

The Choir with No Name’s four choirs, in Birmingham, Liverpool, London (run in partnership with Look Ahead) and Brighton (run in partnership with Brighton Housing Trust), sing pop, rock, soul, gospel, reggae and songs from musicals. Each choir gets together to rehearse every week with a decent dinner at the end of rehearsal, and they perform regularly in all types of venues from local homeless hostels to the Royal Festival Hall and everywhere in between. This event will include an exclusive preview of the video to go with their single, a heartwarming version of "This Is Me" from the Greatest Showman. The single will be released on 10 October for World Homeless Day. The discussion will touch on the themes of the accompanying campaign, which seeks to destigmatise homelessness and challenge public perceptions. It will include contributions from The Choir with No Name choir members with lived experience and their Founder and CEO, Marie Benton. Please note there will not be a performance by the Choir itself.
