“On the morning of 14th June 1381, the rebels pushed west along the Thames, burning the houses of the officials around Westminster and opening the Westminster jail.” You are invited on a journey to the year 1381 in a brand new production from the Lyric Ensemble. Join us as we take a trip to the smallest county in the UK, the City of London. Explore what happened when 600 years ago, a group of rebels began to revolt against the king… The city is out for revenge. We won’t give up the fight. The Lyric Ensemble is a group of 15 actors working and training two nights a week over nine months with Holly Race Roughan, the Lyric’s Director of Young People Nicholai La Barrie and the Lyric’s Artistic Associates to create this show. Please note that due to the nature of this performance no latecomers will be admitted. Age Recommendation: 14+
