About Beginnings
To celebrate the end of Lockdown, and the return to theatre, our aptly named writers’ festival ‘BEGINNINGS’ champions 10 new pieces of writing, involving 13 actors, two directors, and most importantly of all ten fresh, short pieces of writing by ten different playwrights. The plays will be judged by an Industry Panel. Panel members include Sofie Mason, Director of Off West End, Robert Shearman, esteemed author and playwright and Kate Bannister, Artistic Director of the Brockley Jack Thetare, London.
