Rob is twenty something, lives with his brother in a bright yellow flat in Croydon and works the phones at Vodafone. Stacy is his childhood friend, and after a night of spontaneous but disappointing sex, Rob is keen to hear her thoughts on what should happen next. In light of the #MeToo movement, Stacy may seem more relevant now than it did when it was written in 2007. But abuse of power, the effects of toxic masculinity and the pervasiveness of loneliness and entitlement comes as no surprise to anyone who has listened to and believed women over centuries of abuse. Rob speaks about his family, relationships, childhood trauma and the events that have unfolded in the last few days that have lead him here, to this theatre and to us.
