Overview
"How fast can a mermaid run?"
Belamour is a new comi-tragic one man show about a man discovering that he has Multiple Sclerosis. But it is much more than that...
Based on a true story, it explores the conflict created between Belamour's loyalty for his family and his love for an outsider.
This explosive new multilingual show unfolds like a piece of urban poetry, uncompromising, funny, telling a story that celebrates the human spirit.
Written and performed by French-Algerian actor, Ewens Abid, and directed by Greek Director, Zois Pigadas, (director of 'Moormaid' Top Ten Off-West End Production of 2018 by the Theatre Weekly), this is a non-for profit production that aims to tell a powerful story, raise awareness and support MS Society UK.
