Ivory Wings
After a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Coreth Arts are proud to bring this new play to the Drayton Arms Theatre for its London debut.
Overview
Ivory Wings is a one woman show, with a live piano score. It explores Alzheimer’s and the therapeutic effects of music on patients’ memory, whilst celebrating the remarkable women of the Air Transport Auxiliary whose job was to deliver wartime aircraft from the factories to the RAF bases during World War Two.
Throughout the play, Virginia drifts between her elderly Alzheimer’s state and her twenty eight year old self, looking back at her time flying Spitfires and Hurricanes, her memories triggered by music.
