ELF is the funny and charming tale of Buddy, who accidentally crawled into Santa’s bag as a toddler and ended up being raised by Santa's elves in the North Pole! Way too tall and not so great at making toys, Buddy doesn't seem to fit in… and knows he’ll never belong. When he finds out the truth, Buddy heads to New York to search for his biological father. After causing some merry mayhem, he discovers the gifts of family and love.

Elf The Musical UK returns this Christmas

This Christmas, experience the story of Buddy, the man who accidentally crawled into Santa’s bag as a baby and was raised by elves in the North Pole. When Buddy discovers the true reason why he’s never quite fitted in with the other elves, he heads out with Santa’s blessing to New York in search of his real family. Imagine his dismay when it turns out that his real father seems to belong on the Naughty List…

Follow Buddy’s adventures through New York as he leaves a trail of Christmas chaos behind him. On his way, Buddy falls in love and learns to embrace both the human and elf sides of him. When Santa’s sleigh crashes in Central Park, it’s up to Buddy to get Christmas back on track. Through the eyes of this accident-prone elf, audiences will rediscover the meaning of family, share in Buddy’s festive joy, and learn that it’s our differences that make us who we are.

Elf The Musical at the Dominion Theatre stars Simon Lipkin as Buddy and Georgina Castle as Jovie. It has a book by Thomas Meehan & Bob Martin and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Music for the production was written by Matthew Sklar. Elf The Musical is directed by Philip Wm. McKinley.

Elf is the musical adaptation of the film of the same name by New Line Cinema. The original film, which was released in 2003, starred Will Ferrell as Buddy and Zooey Deschanel as Jovie. Film fans of all ages will love seeing Buddy’s story come to life on the West End stage.

Elf The Musical 2022 at the Dominion Theatre

Elf The Musical will arrive at London’s historic Dominion Theatre this November for a strictly 8-week run over the festive season. The Dominion Theatre sits on Tottenham Court Road in London’s West End and has previously housed beloved musicals We Will Rock You and Grease, among others.

Elf The Musical runs for 2 hours and 25 minutes including interval. The show is suitable for children aged 5 and over. Children aged 4 and under will not be permitted entry. The production will arrive in the Dominion Theatre on 14 November 2022 and play until 7 January 2023 for a limited 8-week run.
