Four talented young actors play boys at a strict and repressive boarding school. During the day they
are forced to go through classes in religion, Latin and even the study of women's roles in society. After classes have finished, one of the boys produces a copy of Romeo and Juliet and they all take it in turns to read passages from it.
As the play progresses the boys become more deeply emerged in the characters and themes of the play and the lines between acting and reality become blurred.
