Pink Lemonade

Camden People's Theatre · 19 NOV - 20 NOV

Presented by The Queer House

Overview

“Your anxiety must of got lost in the smoke,

cuz there’s that chair behind me,

I slump nervously,

Your hands are over me,

Quietly you tell me,

I’ve never given anyone a lap dance before,

WHAAAAAAT?”

Pink Lemonade, so sour so sweet.

Underscored by poetry, movement and original beats, Pink Lemonade is a solo piece of experimental theatre which explores femxle masculinity, racial fetishism, sexuality and gender identity.

Written/performed by Mika Johnson. Originally co-produced with HighTide.

Critic reviews

Pink Lemonade is a glow-in-the-dark manifesto exploring queer culture as we know it

A Younger Theatre

Mika Johnson’s got the juice in this fully squeezed spoken-word theatre piece exploring sexuality, queer desire and sour relationships
