Ophelia Rewound

Camden People's Theatre · 22 AUG - 25 AUG

Camden Fringe: Week 4

“Exploring the person underneath the myth, Ophelia Rewound is an interactive, autobiographical performance”

Overview

A journey that starts at its end. A woman who is not used to having guests. A broken clock dressed in blood. And suddenly there's only two minutes left; two minutes to retrace our steps, two minutes to play a game, two minutes to mend our hearts and say goodbye.

Exploring the person underneath the myth, Ophelia Rewound is an interactive, autobiographical performance which weaves intricate projection mapping, the story of Ophelia and Antigoni's lived experience through depression to examine the stereotypes that sit around women and mental health. Through a series of intimate and thought-provoking interactions the audience are given the opportunity to become part of the narrative and share a moment of collective transformation.
