Arts Council funded On Hold, is a take on the housing crisis from the viewpoint of families living in temporary accommodation. This intimate show, performed in the round, is darkly comic and tragic in equal measure. Personal accounts from the cast as well as verbatim taken from families living in temporary accommodation, are broken up by moments of clowning & surrealism echoing the ridiculous hoops families must go through as they have their lives put ‘On Hold’. This darkly comic play lifts the lid on what it means not to have a home to call your own. It reveals the human truth behind the statistics of the housing crisis. Age Recommendation: 16+
