Stumble Trip Theatre combine mime, song, dance and rap to present a universe which eccentrically emulates and quietly questions our modern-day society.
Heather and Harry invites people into a world of horny heavenly creatures, gangster-rapper gods and the very sad, mad, bad inhabitants of London. When manic mindlessness and constant distractions are the norm they encourage the audience to rediscover the everyday pleasures and pains of human life with innocent eyes.
The Stumble Trippers are huge, open, silly performers attempting to combat the constraints of femininity and all that it dictates in terms of how women should behave. They do not apologise for their bodies, voices, sexualities and idiosyncrasies. Instead they stand centre-stage in ridiculous white leotards and fake beards and share with the audience the message that life is too short to be serious!
Heather and Harry is an extremely silly unpicking of what it means to be human and in love. It has toured in London, Bristol and Manchester, Spiegeltent: Bosco at Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe 2018.
