Overview
A Place. A Room. Ana and Joud meet. Ana wants to go university to become the engineer shes always wanted to be. Joud wants to find her brother. But there’s a problem. They can’t get out.
HEARD is a play about identity, sisterhood and survival.
The play highlights the current UK Immigration system, the ongoing campaign to end indefinite detention and the detaining of vulnerable people.
Will Ana and Joud’s friendship and desires be enough to fight against a system that limits them? Can they live a life like any other woman their age?
