Whilst throwing a middle finger up to the patriarchy, FISH DON’T BLEED contrasts the twisted truth behind fairy tales, with the stories that we are told about our bodies as young, growing women. Following ELOINA’s autobiographical story of starting her period at age 10, the show depicts the extreme lengths that young women are expected to go to, in order to conceal the most natural part of their life. It is refreshingly honest. It is filled to brim with rage. You will leave questioning what they taught you at school. You will leave square dancing. And you will leave yelling “DOES ANYBODY HAVE A F*CKING TAMPON” down the street. Age Recommendation: 12+ The performance contains nudity and strong language.
