Conquest is a brand new play exploring the minefield of ethical sexual relations.
Overview
Meet Jo and Alice.
Two very different women who deal with their ideas of feminism in very different ways. A chance meeting in a pharmacist in search of the morning after pill draws Alice into Jo’s world of radical feminist activism running Conquest – a self-proclaimed revenge cupcake company. Alice isn’t sure about the strategy – she wants to take it to a new level, to the top, all the way to the government. With sexual education bills continually being turned out of parliament and women’s rights never leaving the agenda, this is a timely piece reflecting on sexual consent and the inequalities women still face in the bedroom.
