About Big Bang: handle With Care #1

An explosive night of performance from which new universes of theatre may one day emerge. Expect brand new works-in-progress, never-before-seen ideas and some of the freshest work from the UK’s most innovative and exciting theatre-makers. The line up: Silence is Gold by Anthi Psachou A performance-protest challenging the notion of accents and the stereotypes they imply, in the post-Brexit vote UK, through the eyes of a foreigner trying to fit in. Swarm by Liv Ello We over-populate. We spread disease. We eat a load of shit. We are flies. Swarm explores the connections between toxic expressions of white privilege and the behaviour of flies. BOXTICKERS by Korupt Kabuki Becky and Lucy are ‘individuals’. Becky likes cake and parks. Lucy likes cheese and canals. Lucy is non-binary. Becky is BAME. Becky and Lucy are BOXTICKERS. Together they explore marketing identity in a world were identity exists between the boxes. You Cannot Unsee This by Femme Feral
