Overview
Join The Festival of Rest & Resistance curator and Touretteshero co-founder Jess Thom in an open-ended conversation with Francesca Martinez. This talk will explore the radical implications of resting in professional, public and private space, how we can adapt environments to meet our personal requirements and what it means to be a disabled artist in a normative world.
This event is aimed particularly at artists at every stage of their careers who identify as being disabled of have lived experience of system barriers in their lives - friends and allies are welcome too!
This will be a relaxed, accessible event with captioning and a support worker available.
