Overview

Emma Frankland, an award-winning UK theatre maker and performer, has created a diverse collection of work and was featured in the British Council Showcase at the 2013 Edinburgh Festival with an anarchic adaptation of Don Quijote. The show won the Wildfire Critic's Choice award at the 2014 Ignite festival and has toured the UK and internationally, appearing at the Tempo Festival, Rio de Janeiro.

She has collaborated with many companies including Chris Goode and Company, Wildworks and is an associate artist with Coney. She is a two time Fringe First award winner and Total Theatre Award nominee.

Throughout her work, there is a shared theatrical language that focuses on honesty, action and playfully destructive DIY aesthetic.

Critic reviews

A near-perfect twinning of content and form.

â‹… The Stage
