Overview

To get by working in a cocktail bar, there are things you must learn: Don't make drinks you don’t know the recipe for, do exact revenge on bad customers, don’t assume that white powder is salt, do whatever you can to earn your tips...

And remember... we’re bar staff, we’re not nice.

Oi Barman! is a brand new spoken word theatre show where Joshua Idehen draws on a decade as a bartender in London’s liveliest West End bars, to show what life is like the other side of the counter, from serving skinheads to surviving hen dos.

This is the forced conversation, casual racism and questionable morals of a life behind bars.
