Adam is the remarkable, true story of a young trans man having to make that choice and begin his journey. From Egypt to Scotland, it charts Adam's fight across borders and genders to find a place to call home.
Blending theatrical form, storytelling and a digital choir of trans individuals from across the globe, Adam boldly explores the experience of a young transgender person.
Directed by Cora Bissett (Roadkill – Olivier Award Winner 2012), with music composed by Jocelyn Pook (DESH – Stage Works British Composer Award Winner 2012). Written by playwright and dramaturg Frances Poet.
