Overview
Piece of Me examines privacy and the prevalence and growth of public and online surveillance. Using Britney Spears as its example, the show explores the cult of celebrity and the extent to which we are willing to cede our own privacy in the digital age.
Claire Gaydon is a theatre-maker and performer specialising in creating research-driven, multi-disciplinary theatre blending social experiment, live performance and multimedia.
The Open Lab Showcase presents work-in-progress performances by emerging and mid-career artists following a period of research and development at the Barbican as part of the Open Lab Programme.
